Take a Risk

Something is missing. There are moments in your life where you feel lost. If you are like me, then you probably have these moments every few months. There are so many hopes and desires in my heart. . The desire to be loved. The desire to be successful. The hope to be happy. The hope to enjoy life. These are just a few of many. Some of you might relate to my hopes or desires, but there is no doubt that you have your own. There are times we need to put them aside. The lack of fulfilling them leads to a void. This void leads to loneliness and even being lost. At times, it's unbearable and our souls gently weep. Our hearts are tugged each day by the possible opportunities to fulfill those needs. A glimpse of hope seems slim. Yet, there is always hope. Always desire. Always a chance. Although there is something missing and those moments of feeling lost tend to always arise, the opportunities allow us to be able to complete them. Take a risk. Yes, heartbreak might come from it. Yes, failure might occur. Yes, loneliness might dwell as well as hurt. But the only way to realize those needs is to try. Trust God. God answers the petitions of our heart, but it is also our responsibility to try. Render your heart. Give it a shot.
